MV Switchgear Product manager

General Purpose

Responsible for managing the MV switchgear product throughout the product lifecycle from planning to execution in support of organizational strategy and objectives.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Research and Analysis

1.Research and analyze global market conditions

2.Identify benchmarking enterprise and consumer trends

3.Articulate market requirements and opportunities

4.Identify opportunities for 6kV-40.5kV Air Insulated Switchgear and Gas Insulated Switchgear

5.Work with research regarding MV switchgear development

Product Planning and Management

1.Determine MV switchgear specifications

2.Define the long-term strategy of the MV switchgear product

3.Prepare product documents including Market Requirement Documents and application to drive product activity

4.Develop pricing strategies and MV switchgear policies

5.Oversee MV switchgear development

6.Manage and communicate with cross functional teams

Product Marketing

1.Support TGOOD global sales and marketing with the necessary MV switchgear knowledge and technical expertise

2..Conduct MV switchgear presentations

3.Develop sales tools and sales training material

4.Provide input for marketing collateral development

5.Supply TGOOD global sales with latest research and marketing information

6.Develop product marketing plan and event campaigns to generate product awareness and demand

7.Drive ongoing improvement in sales and profitability

Customer and Front Office Support

1.Manage MV switchgear-related support, feedback and inquiries from users and front offices overseas

2.Coordinate market research to track customer and overseas front office feedback

3.Use market feedback to inform product refinements and ongoing development

Education and Experience

1.Bachelors degree or higher in power electric field

2.Previous MV switchgear (AIS GIS) management or related experience for not less than 5 years

3.Knowledge of marketing principles and practices

4.Knowledge of business and management principles and practices in power electric field

5.Proficient in relevant software applications
